Perhaps the only thing more impressive than German-born clotheshorse Heidi Klum's beauty is her bank account. The world's third-biggest-earning supermodel according to Forbes magazine, Klum (born June 1, 1973) broke into modeling via a German late-night talk-show contest in 1992. Since then, Klum has branched into clothing design, jewelry design, perfumery and media mogul-dom. Klum's hit Bravo series Project Runway—for which she serves as host, judge and executive producer—has garnered a Peabody Award, the first time a reality show has received such an honor. About the only thing that might hold her back are accusations of pilfering—the model was hit with a lawsuit in December 2007 for allegedly swiping another jeweler's design. Seems plausible to us; after stealing so many hearts, what's a little intellectual property?
